Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to NUTRIBE ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the NUTRIBE platform at nutribe.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

NUTRIBE is a digital health and wellness platform that connects members with verified health and wellness practitioners. We do not provide medical advice and our platform is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use NUTRIBE. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Accounts for minors may only be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Registration

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we suspect a breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

NUTRIBE offers subscription plans (Basic, Standard, Premium) billed on a monthly or annual basis. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

One-off consultation fees are charged at the time of booking. If you need to cancel a consultation, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Refunds for consultations are issued at our discretion.

We use Stripe as our payment processor. Your payment information is processed securely and we do not store your card details on our servers.

5. Practitioner Services

Practitioners on NUTRIBE are independent professionals who have been verified by us. Verification confirms credentials and qualifications as submitted but does not constitute endorsement of individual advice. NUTRIBE is not responsible for the content of practitioner advice or recommendations.

Consultations on NUTRIBE are for general health and wellness guidance only and do not constitute a medical consultation, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified medical professional for medical concerns.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, offensive, harassing or harmful
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or any account
• Use automated means to access, scrape or index the platform without our prior written consent
• Share your account credentials with any third party

7. Intellectual Property

All content on NUTRIBE, including text, graphics, videos, logos and software, is owned by or licensed to NUTRIBE and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

Content uploaded by practitioners remains the property of the respective practitioner. By uploading content, practitioners grant NUTRIBE a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the platform.

8. Privacy

Your use of NUTRIBE is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NUTRIBE and its officers, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising in connection with these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to NUTRIBE in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of NUTRIBE after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
